Soko G-2 Galeb (Commission)
The Soko G-2 Galeb is a Yugoslav jet trainer and light attack aircraft developed in the early 1960s. Designed for pilot training and ground attack roles, it was the first jet aircraft developed and produced in Yugoslavia, with assistance from the United Kingdom. Powered by a single Rolls-Royce Viper engine, the G-2 features simple handling characteristics, durable construction, and the ability to carry rockets, bombs, and gun pods, making it effective in both training and combat support. It served extensively with the Yugoslav Air Force and saw combat use during the Yugoslav Wars.
