[VJ] Combine Tank Buster (NPC)

May I introduce you all to the Combine Tank Buster. This is a Combine Soldier that specializes in destroying tanks and other armored vehicles. Equipped with the Combine Dark Energy launcher crowds and other fortified enemy positions are not out of the question either.
The Tank Buster tags their target with a targeting laser for a few moments before shooting as they zero in on their target. Those unfortunate enough to get caught in the blast of the Tank Buster’s shoulder mounted weapon will likely be dissolved by the energy blast just like something hit by a combine energy ball.
If an enemy gets too close though, the Tank Buster has the self control not to blow themselves up with their own launcher, most of the time. In these instances they will usually switch to their pulse pistol side arm to fend off hostiles. The pulse pulse pistol has a slight knock-back effect on target which is great for keeping distance between them and hostiles.
While holding their side arm, their launcher is safely slung over their back. Once back at a safe distance, the Tank Buster will once again equip their launcher from their back and begin reacquiring targets.
Features of this NPC include:
- Weapons: Combine Dark Matter Launcher, Combine Pulse Pistol
- Targeting laser
- Weapon swapping
- Dynamic behavior based on distance to target
- Male citizen and and specific Metropolice animations
Feel free to offer feedback and suggestions. Such things help me with future development of addons. This is the first NPC I have tried adding weapon swapping to. Thus far I think it looks good, not sure how much I will use this in NPCs going forward. This will be my last NPC for a little bit while I continue work on my other NPC projects. Expect another drop like the ones I have been doing recently when I return. Thank you everyone for the support.
