Operation Black Friday starts on April 16, 2035 as a squadron of R.E.A.P, Rapid Engagement Assault Platform attacks the downtown of New Kroy. The squadron, call sign Shoreline, belongs to the Republic Federation Air Force, has 3 REAPs carrying out multiple air strike aiming to cripple the cities main infrastructure, in order for the following troops to perform a capture or kill mission whose target is the former president of Super Union, now the acting commander in chief of the Democracy Alliance’s army.
While the division of the Super Union happened long time ago, this operation was seen as the mark of the break of the total civil war between two former Super Union political parties.
The REAPs are converted from former Thresher attack planes. No one knows how the engineers in the Feds pulled this off since the downfall of the global network. REAP carrying an arsenal of deadly ground-targeting weapons, including two AGM67 missiles, 40 Hydra-90 missile pods, 12 MK93s, 1 GBU56, a GBU10 autocannon with ridiculous high fire rate capable of destroying its opponent within a heart beat. The strike began with multiple missile from unknown aircraft shoot down the Air Force One, then REAP bombed the famous Semit Square of the city, collapsing multiple skyscrapers, trapping the wreckage in ruins. Local police force and militia initiated a rescue but REAP turned around and made the square a slaughter house. Alliance was not prepared for the attack as global networks are down before the division and no government was determined as air combat capable. However the REAPs are not excellent in survival ability so it was repelled by the massive amount of MANPADs brought by the Alliances forces. They successfully rescued their commander in chief, who later declared total war with the Republic Federation.
Although the leader of DA was saved, the lack of air support still made them lost New Kroy. As one of the main forward base and logistic Hub lost in the east coast, the DA founds themselves struggle on the battlefield. But soon they will have something to counter the RF’s REAP. The story continues in the next mod description.
From Commissioner of this mod: this will be a series of mods that uses cod models, including weapons (eg POWER), vehicles and something more. It will unfold a fictional story that tells a civil war within the once strongest country in the world, now divided). Any story will be written by me and have no connection to the commission maker whose work will always be appreciated. This is an explaination as some of you are confused why I named my last IW Volk rifle as P.O.W.E.R.
