Description:

Allows for Guerilla Ops to be better partially completed, giving you either the mission reward or point of interest for completing the objective of the mission but not being able to secure the area in addition to countering the dark event.

For retaliation missions, instead of losing contact with the region if you managed to evac more than six civilians, you’ll merely get a reduction in supplies along with either the mission reward or point of interest.

This mod is meant to allow for evac completions of missions without requiring the end user to do a major rebalancing of the game on their own. If you don’t mind that sort of thing and want a full Guerilla based experience, check out HazyAssaulter’s Make Neutralize All Enemies Objective Optional, which I was inspired by to make this mod.

IMPORTANT NOTE: While it will still read Mission Failed on the Skyranger and in the Council screen (and the mission failure soldier animations will play), the appropriate music and mission summary will accurately reflect whether you partially completed a mission or not.

OVERRIDES:
This mod overrides UIMissionSummary, XComTacticalSoundManager, and XComStrategySoundManager to do its stuff. It will conflict with other mods that alter those arrangements.

Figure out where the heck the game decides to play the dropship animations to see if it’s alterable

Wait for Firaxis or some modders to come up with a better solution to mod conflicts rather than just "pick whichever one you want the most."
