Larger Unit Sizes – Fight with armies that look and feel like armies.
Longer, More Brutal Battles – Units no longer vanish in seconds. Battles are tense, drawn-out, and satisfying.
Morale Overhaul – Morale breaks are more impactful. Lose your general or become exhausted , and expect your line to crumble.
No Second Chances – Once a unit routes, it won’t rally. Every loss is final — hold your ground or be overrun.
Armor Matters – Heavily armored troops are tankier, shrugging off missile fire and dominating in prolonged fights.
Light vs. Heavy Contrast – Light units strike fast and die faster. Heavy units grind through the front lines like machines.
Spears Are Effective – Spears now play their proper role as primary weapons.
Veterans Hit Harder – Experienced units are noticeably deadlier. They fight longer and harder.
More Ammo for Missile Troops – Ranged units can now support for longer, allowing for more dynamic skirmishes.
Cavalry Charges Are Devastating – A well-timed cavalry charge can break lines — but cycle charging is harder, forcing smarter use of mobility.
Removed some abilities that the ai was never able to use properly , for example diamond formation just caused the ai to fail most charges. I have decided to remove them, now ai cavalry charges can be devastating.
Unit Recruitment Caps (Campaign) – AI and player armies are more varied. No more spam of light troops.
