Tennessee Central Diner 8510 — (W.I.P.)
Still a bit of a work in progress, but here’s my basic model of TCRM’s dining car No. 8510 😀
Originally built for the CB&Q as Diner No. 193, it operated on the California Zephyr before becoming part of the Amtrak Heritage Fleet in the 1970’s. From there, it was heavily modernized before being sold with the rest of the fleet around 2018. The Tennessee Central Railway Museum bought it shortly thereafter, and it’s been operating on 6-hour excursions out of Nashville ever since :]
