ZSU-23-4M4 Shilka SPAAG Ukraine (COMMISSION)

The ZSU-23-4M4 is a modernized variant of the Soviet-era ZSU-23-4 "Shilka," a self-propelled anti-aircraft gun system. Designed to enhance its effectiveness against modern aerial threats, the M4 upgrade features the integration of two Igla surface-to-air missile launchers alongside the original quad 23mm autocannons, providing improved engagement range and target versatility. It is equipped with advanced digital fire control systems, upgraded radar, and thermal imaging for better target acquisition and tracking capabilities in all weather and light conditions. The M4 retains the vehicle’s tracked, armored chassis, making it highly mobile and capable of providing air defense coverage for mechanized units on the move.
