[WOTC] Modern Assaulter Class
The Assaulter is a close range class with improved Special Grenades that carries an Assault Rifle and Pistol. Pushes the front line.
As part of the class design, the Assaulter gets a free grenade slot to open up their loadout options, allowing them to bring multiple Special Grenades or other items. They can additionally swap out their pistol for Underbarrel ammunition packs as an alternative.
The class is made with a modern themed playthrough in mind, but of course is not limited to. It is balanced around a large varied squad against lots of enemies and making meaningful choices when selecting abilities, with different viable sub-roles within the class.
By default random bonus AWC abilities are disabled. The reasoning is that there is no need for it because there are enough options in the ability tree and the class has everything it needs to fill the role. Other roles are intended to be filled by other classes. AWC can be re-enabled through the config but there is no support to prevent duplicate/redundant abilities as is.
The Assaulter has three ability trees: Close Quarters, Moving Target & Backup Weapon. The class rely on abilities and perks from other mods.
This class is heavily inspired by Alpha115’s Vanguard Class and requires it for some abilites. They do not conflict and can be used together.

Squaddie:
MrCpouchGrenade: Gain a free grenade slot.
LW2WotC_RunAndGun: Activate to gain a bonus non-movement action.
PistolStandardShot: Standard pistol shot
Corporal:
LW2WotC_LowProfile: Low cover counts as full.
AR_Soldier: Gain +1 armor and bonus defense.
MZFranticFire: Pistol shots at two random enemies as a free action.
Sergeant:
LightningReflexes: Evade the first reaction shot each turn.
AR_Sprint: Gain bonus mobility for the turn.
APLethal: Pistol shots gain +10 accuracy and bonus crit chance.
Lieutenant:
GrimyDeadlyHaze: +100% special grenades tile coverage, grenades debuff enemy damage.
ARHipFire: Take a free primary shot.
Quickdraw: Standard pistol shot does not end the turn.
Captain:
LW2WotC_VolatileMix: +1 radius for grenades.
AR_CloseEncounters: Run and Gun gives +2 armor for two turns.
KPP_Disorienting: Special pistol shot that disorient but deals no damage.
Major:
F_WatchThemRun: Overwatch after throwing a grenade.
LW2WotC_ExtraConditioning: Decreased Run And Gun cooldown.
KPP_Flash: Improve Disorienting shot to affect multiple enemies near the target.
Colonel:
GrimyVileConcoctions: Special grenades damage over time deals +2 damage.
LW2WotC_CloseCombatSpecialist: Take reaction shots against enemies at close range.
ShadowOps_CoupDeGrace: Killing an enemy with the pistol does not cost an action.
Brigadier:
KPP_BreachingEntrySolo: Activate to throw the next grenade as a free action.
F_Recharge: Primary weapon kills decrease cooldowns.
KPP_Critical_Focus: Primary shot increase pistol crit chance and crit damage, this bonus may gradually decrease each turn.

Mobile Partner – Sergeant, 80 supplies: The Assaulters grants their bondmate bonus Mobility that scales with bond level.
Thrown Grenades – Captain, 120 supplies: The Assaulters gain another use for each equipped grenade and they have +1 radius.
Concussive Grenades – Colonel, 200 supplies: The Assaulters can disorient enemies using damaging grenades and they have a chance to stun organic enemies.
