Congratulations, Vault Dweller!

Thanks to the Vault 117 Survival Enrichment Program, you have been selected to brave the surface above in order to rebuild civilization. You will be given a courtesy Vault-Tec General Issue Survival Kit and a furry friend to accompany you. Good luck!

Note: You must leave within 24 hours or Vault 117 security personnel will be forced to peacefully evict you out.

  • You will start with one colonist and their pet, with little starting resources to guide you.
  • Most research has already been unlocked from your studies within the vault.
  • Trader and caravan events will occur more frequently.
  • Due to a permanent toxic fallout, this will be a difficult scenario!

* This scenario does not require any expansions, however it will include expansion research if any of them are enabled!


Optional Rules

World Generation – For that Fallout immersion, you’re encouraged to use the following world generation settings!

  • Overall rainfall – 4/7
  • Overall temperature – 5/7
  • Population – 2/7
  • Pollution – 30%

Challenge Mode – For especially masochistic vault dwellers

  • Only keep a maximum of two colonists at once. After all, who needs civilisation?
