Easy DLC Recruitment [Vanilla]
[Vanilla] means this mod is for use with Shogun 2: Total War’s Sengoku Jidai campaign.
This mod removes the secondary building requirement on all units included in the Sengoku Jidai DLC pack. This change applies to both you and the AI. You can expect to see the DLC units earlier and in greater numbers.
For the record, the minimum building requirements are now:
– Cavalry (Tokugawa and Takeda) -> Tier 1 Stables (must have Horses resource)
– Marathon Monks (Uesugi and Ikko Ikki) -> Tier 1 Temple (must be Buddhist or Ikko)
– Archers (Chosokabe and Hattori) -> Tier 1 Archery Dojo
– Spear (Oda and Date) -> Tier 1 Yari Drill Yard
– Mori Wako Raiders -> Tier 1 Sword School
– Shimazu Heavy Gunners -> Tier 1 Powder Maker
– Hojo Hand Mortars -> Tier 1 Powder Maker
No attempt has been made to balance the availability of units. Most clans will be able to build their DLC unit on turn 1, such as the Chosokabe pictuerd above, who start with a Archery Dojo in their capital.
No unit stats, price, upkeep or caps have been changed. Note that this mod will conflict with other mods that do change those values.
