La presente modificación se centra en adecuar la genealogía de Rodrigo Díaz de Vivar dentro de la familia nobiliaria leonesa de los Laínez.
Que para tal fin, se ha tenido como referencia la teoría defendida por la Doctor en Historia Medieval doña Margarita Cecilia Torre Sevilla-Quiñones de León, tal y como se plantea en su artículo «El linaje del Cid», Anales de la Universidad de Alicante. Historia Medieval. n.º 13 (2000-2002).
This amendment focuses on adapting the genealogy of Rodrigo Díaz de Vivar to the Laínez noble family of León.
To this end, the theory defended by Margarita Cecilia Torre Sevilla-Quiñones de León, PhD in Medieval History, has been used as a reference, as outlined in her article "The Lineage of El Cid," Annals of the University of Alicante. Medieval History. No. 13 (2000-2002).
