Buckshot Roulette Defibrillators

A simple script that aims to recreate the Buckshot Roulette death experience. When you die, everything will go black and silent until you prompt a respawn. Defibrillators will give you a jolt back to life alongside six of buckshot’s club music. Three from singleplayer and three from multiplayer. That’d be it! Just a fun script to have for those who enjoy Buckshot Roulette

Ensure you do not have any addons that also add a death effect as they will very likely cause conflicts!

Convar Settings
buckshotrevive_enabled (0 or 1) "Whether the revive effect is enabled or not" buckshotrevive_musicvolume (0 to 10) "The maximum volume of the club music that plays after discharge. Set to 0 to completely disable the music" buckshotrevive_disablevoid (0 or 1) "Disables the darkness and silent audio after death"

NOTE

Because Garry’s Mod does not provide the tools for real time audio effects, the low-pass filter effect is achieved by 2 separate audio channels. One is clear audio and the other is the separate low-pass version. To simulate the increasing low-pass effect, the volume of the clear and low-pass channels are adjusted inversely from each other.

The problem here is small desyncs will likely occur because two audio channels are used together. There is nothing I can do about this. I did all I could to minimize the problem.
