Staff shortage in Budapest! To keep trains running you were booked for this afternoon shift to manage the Budapest Keleti area. Old infrastucture and many level interchanges make punctual operations a hard task to achieve. Additionally after heavy rainfalls last night it was reported that the Kelenföld – Déli line only features single track operations as the maintenance crew is still trying to fix the second track. This means some additional reroutings to Keleti that needs to be handled wisely.

Even though the area to manage is quite small, make sure to get familar with the station (local and main area), the sidings (some shunting required) and the numerous level crossings trains will have to make to reach their tracks. In Hungary platforms are allocated upon the operational situation, so you are free to chose the platform for your trains. This sounds easy? Well, it can make things simpler, but be sure to plan ahead and look where the trains have to go after reaching the station!

IC, IR, EC: Long Distance / International Passenger Trains
S, R: Commuter Rail lines
T: Freight trains
DT: Rerouted Trains
U: Empty / Shunting trains

All regular passenger trains feature the original timetable, whilst freight trains and special trains were selected on realistic routes with realistic times. Tracks represent the original track plans with minor adjustments to game limitations.

Kudos to the community members who test-played this map multiple times before release!
