Arecacura
A strict martial arts teacher and charismatic diplomat from Defiance, an oasis far west of the Rock Wall. They’ve become one with the sway of the palms, able to grow their limbs as a tree. Though their standards are high, they’re willing to train others for as long as mastery takes.
Arecacura ("Ah-reh-KAH-koo-rah", they/them) is a strange zoner focused all around Fast Vertical, Long Horizontal. They’re so skewed that even their jump arc and airdodge speeds are affected!
NSPECIAL: Date & Time. Pressing it once makes your next attack pull inwards! Pressing it twice makes the pull much stronger…if you time the hit on beat.
FSPECIAL: Hibiscus Dance. Flings a whirlwind out further the more you press it. Careful, though, you’re left open to close attacks!
USPECIAL: Plantstalk. Plants your leg down on the ground no matter your height.
DSPECIAL: Kingfisher. Dives to the ground, rolls, and springs up! Very flexible and good for kills.
