Description:

Faction Upgrade is my series of mods aimed at improving the various factions of the Kenshi world. The mod will affect the following things:

1. Weapons and armour
2. Cities and bases
3. Units
4. Dialogues
5. Starts

The Faction Upgrade (Cannibals) mod aims to improve the faction of the same name.

Changes:

Town

All Cannibals villages, as well as the First Village and DeadCat are rebuilt from scratch by hand. Also the unfinished village in darkfinger has been rebuilt. These are now large settlements full of vicious savages. Capturing such a camp is not an easy task even for experienced warriors!

Lore and dialogue

I wondered what cannibals eat when there are no other people around. That’s right – their brethren, for which I divided them into two warring tribes.

The first and more powerful tribe are the Cannibal, under the leadership of the Grand Wizard, who rules his hordes from DeadCat. They also occupy all the cannibal villages.

The second is the corpse-eater, a weaker but no less bloodthirsty tribe. Ruled by the Meat Lord of the First Village, they also occupy the Suspicious Lab.

The death of one of the chiefs will weaken but not destroy the tribe. They’ll just be more likely to fall into the enemy’s cauldron.

Squads

Each tribe has its own temporary camps. Each troop has been given its own chief, but the reward for their heads has become smaller and less frequent.

Start
The new start gives you control of a small tribe of 5-7 ogres. To play off the lovers of humanity, the chief was added a blueprint of the cannibals building, as well as a Peeler Machine. The stumps (arms and legs) have been given different nutritional values. Both cannibals and fogmen can eat them.

Weapons and Armour.

I really like the Cannibals Expanded mod, however I can’t understand how the underdeveloped cannibals have such advanced blacksmithing. I decided to give them the look of primitive hunters, dressed in skins and wearing skulls and animal heads instead of hats. Weapons were also changed. Spiked massive clubs and cleavers made of metal shards became predominant.

(I usually provide links to the weapons and armour I’ve used here, but there are a lot of links and Steam can’t digest them. They will be listed in a separate section below.)
