uguguhfghkjgjkfdshjflkfaHI. It’s been a month. Lots of things have happened, I’d rather not dwell on them frankly but it’s more than enough time for me to reflect and just ponder. I’m back and hopefully will be in higher spirits. This map was actually conceived during this period, when I was fixing up and remastering some old maps and trying to make some videos. I scrapped those videos, but it’s not that big of a deal.
Also during this time, I developed some sick new water normals to be used in maps and knew that it was time for a sewer map. I found several photos of the Moscow sewers and used that as a base. A huge amount of effort was poured into getting the water effects looking as good as they possibly can within Source’s limits and generally making everything else damp and nasty. The soundscapes especially are my proudest work. Maybe this will finally pave the way for some good sewer maps but what do I know.
