[23PzD] Komadi, 1944

The 23. Panzer-Division Technischerstab presents a 1944 Hungarian terrain based around the Tank engagements of the division on the Hungarian Puszta (Plains). This is a 15km terrain with a 8x8km play area using modern day height map and recreated using Hungarian military surveys from the 1940s based around the town of Komadi and Magyarhomorog. Komadi is a small town where over the course of several days the 23. Panzer-Division engaged elements of the 6th Tank Army including the 9th and 2nd Guards Motorized Brigade along with the 233rd Guards Tank Brigade. The idea of a Hungarian themed terrain and campaign was inspired by the previous work of Neeves during the Kuban – 1943 campaign.
