SITUATION
Task Force REDACTED will conduct a scheduled security patrol through Sector Echo of AO Ashfall. This region has seen a recent uptick in insurgent movement and is suspected to be a transit corridor for weapons and personnel. Local terrain is semi-urban with dense alleyways, farmland, and abandoned structures.
Although recent operations have reduced large-scale threats, intelligence indicates remaining insurgent cells may attempt to reassert control. ISR has flagged intermittent comms traffic suggesting an imminent hostile response to coalition presence.
WARNING: Civilian presence is possible but unconfirmed. Use of civilian cover by insurgents is highly likely.
MISSION
Primary Objective:
Conduct armed reconnaissance and presence patrol through Grid SE-2014 to SE-2018.
Assess local atmospherics and confirm or deny insurgent activity.
Respond decisively to any contact while preserving freedom of maneuver.
Contingency Objective:
In the event of ambush or enemy engagement, neutralize hostile forces, establish perimeter, and call for QRF if required.
Maintain ROE discipline in presence of potential non-combatants.
