[WIP] AGOT: Age of the Petty Kings
Hey, so I love all the work AGOT Devs have put into the mod, however I missed the more radically different scenario, than already present in the mod; that’s why I’ve decided to make a submod taking place during the age of petty kings, right after the Doom of Valyria, in particular.
The mod is set during the ‘Century of Blood’, that is soon after the Doom of Valyria, around one hundred years before the Aegons Conquest and establishment of the Iron Throne.
Most of the history files were already present for this scenario (once again salutations for the tremendous work!), I only had to slightly adjust them, and add other things.
I know there have been some similar bookmark mods, however I wanted to give it my own spin, focusing on this earlier startdate in particular.
Initialy, at the release, the mod is focused on the petty kings of Westeros; Targaryen stuff will (most likely) be added later. Oh, and the dragons shouldn’t bother you too much for the first 100 years, as in lore.
– adjusted history of Westeros, utilising tributary system
– custom Petty Kingdoms system
– decisions to unite the Westeros (including a decision to establish "Kings Landing" and the Crownlands)
– decision to form Kingsguard
– decision to build Harrenhal
– new Casus Belli types to unite the divided regions, and later launch wars for unification of Westeros
– decision for dragon riders to begin the Conquest (including simple system to drive the Conquest for AI)
– many more small adjustments!
– some special buildings need renaming to be more generalised
– add more general flavour
– ???
I did quite extensive testing, played for a bit, and ran an observe mod too, but this is an early work, so keep in mind there might be some bugs, so let me know if there is something wrong, or something you think I could add.
