SDAR Plus
This mod enhances the SDAR underwater assault rifle with these features:
1. Enables attaching of optical sight and sound suppressor*.
2. Increases the 5.56mm caliber Dual Purpose magazine from 20 to 30 rounds.
*The suppressor is shown in your inventory only, it does not appear visually on the rifle. It will reduce the gunshot noise like other suppressors.
Equip the SDAR rifle and attach any optical sight and the 5.56mm suppressor.
Add 30Rnd Dual Purpose or STANAG magazines to your loadout.
1. Only the DP rounds are capable of inflicting damage underwater.
2. When under water, it’s effective range is approximately 35 metres, and drops rapidly from 35 meters in 10m depth to 13 meters in 40m depth.
3. On land, it only has an effective range of approximately 100 metres. So switch to STANAG magazines for land combat.
* Remember to equip youself with a Diving Goggle.
* Do not zero your SDAR at 100m.
* When shooting underwater, aim a little higher on your target.
* Check for enemy’s location with optical sight before moving close.
* Pistol, Launcher, Smoke & Frags are not needed as they don’t work.
* You can’t self treat with First Aid Kits.
* Use stealth and cover.
