Hellenic Armed Forces: 198X
The Greek Military, officially the Hellenic Armed Forces, conducts operations in defense of Greece as well as the southern two-thirds of Cyprus. During the Cold War, Greece played an interesting role in NATO as a country actively fighting its own communist insurgency. With territorial disputes and small-scale armed conflict breaking out between Greece and its neighbor and fellow NATO member, Turkey, the Hellenic Armed Forces had a tumultuous relationship with NATO in the 1960s and 1970s. By 1981, the Greek government elected to mend its ties to NATO and join Italy in the formation of NATO’s reserve force in Europe, sometimes referred to informally as SOUTHAG (Southern Army Group).
This mod contains gear to emulate the Hellenic Armed Forces during a non-specific period in the 1980s. Due to asset limitations, the mod is not 1:1 with all variants of equipment operated by the Greeks in the 1980s. The uniforms and individual equipment in this mod are derived from S&S. Vehicles are provided by GM, CSLA, and SOGPF. Weapons are provided by the Free World Armoury and GM.
At some point in the future, I intend to add assets for Greece in the 1990s as well as Cypriot National Guard Troops.

All models were made by Goonworks with limited edits by Delta-Gamma (me) with the exceptions of:
