Spartan Legionaries For ROME & SPARTA [Updated September 2020]
Ever wondered about how it would look like if you combined the superior Roman equipment and tactics with the superior fighting skill of the spartans? Look no further!
This mod adds two units; One for Rome and one for Sparta. The units can be recruited as a general bodyguard and as a regular unit; however the Roman unit requires you to own a settlement in the ‘Hellas’ Province to recruit as a normal unit.
UPDATE 2.0
Changelog:
* Balanced Upkeep to be just slightly more expensive than Preatorian Guard.
* Update Spartan unit to have full size Scutum with custom texture. (+ Roman unit uses same custom texture)
* Clean up Unit abilities as the last updates has rendered many of them useless.
* Add the requirement to own Settlement in ‘Italia’ Province for Spartan units.
* Remade the UI Icons to match vanilla Icons

*Added integrated support for Turquoise-Falcon’s "Roman Houses" Mod. All houses can recruit the unit both normally and as a general Bodyguard.

* 2nd Unit for sparta, sporting roman armor and Greek Hoplos-Shield.
