I was making a mod that improves the Boomer behavior cuz i found him weak and then i thought to myself why not improving all specials?
This mod improves the specials and bosses (Tank & Witch) behavior and makes them more powerfull
I Also have made a seperated versions for each infected, see Improved Infecteds Collection
WARNING:
- Works on singleplayer and hosted local servers only!
- This mod conflicts with any mod effects specials behaviors or speed!
- Needs more tests, if you found a bug please tell me in the comments
Features:
- Larger explosion radius when killed/died
- Larger vomit range
- Faster movement
- No delay before vomiting
- Vomit lasts longer on survivors
- Chance of spawning a female boomer increased to 50
- Bigger vomit boxsize
- Faster vomit speed
- Boomer vomits for longer (1.5s > 2s)
- Boomer can move while vomitting instead of just standing (seems that bots doesn’t move while using the ability but still usable for versus)
- Vomit hit angle is tweaked to make it easier to hit survivors
- Boomer vomit-ability cooldown decreased (30s > 10s)
- Easier target-dot (targets in/near the dot/crosshair will get attacked/selected)
- Removed Leaker Boomer and made a separated version here
- More powerfull charge and charge impact
- Charge lasts longer resulting in further charge
- Charge impact has larger radius and wider angel
- Charger can charge again after 4s
- Charge has much more force and speed
- Charger has no "warmup" time, will charge immediately
- Lunge distance increased
- Hunter can lunge survivors easier
- When Hunter is staggerd off survivors, he’ll recover immediately
- Hunter speed increased
- No lunge cooldown/interval
- More lunge power
- Hunter bot has the ability to kick-walls
- Hunter lunges slightly higher
- Hunter will prefer using ability instead of melee-attack in close ranges
- Higher pounce speed mid air
- Pounce has wider angel
- Hunter will be ready to pounce from further away
- Hunter will stagger/stumble survivors near pounced target
- Higher stumble power/force
- Hunter’s pounce breaks doors immediately
- Can’t interrupt hunter while pouncing (damage interrupt, shoving still works)
- No crouch delay (Hunter won’t crouch for 1s before jumping
- Better area perception
- Jockey will drag pounced survivors into hordes/spit more often
- Jockey will fully controll survivor’s movement
- Jockey will leap again after 0.5s~1s (when missed)
- Jockey will jumb further
- Jockey will drag pounced survivors to any near ledge
- Damage interval decreased to 0.7s (you’ll take damage each 0.7s instead of 1s)
- Jockey scans each 0.5s a wide area around him for hordes/ledges/spit to drag survivors in
- Jockey’s speed increased
- Higher mid-air jumb speed (harder to shove)
- Wider pounce angle
- Wider pounce attach distance
- Attach immediately
- Jockey pounces again after 10s when he incaps a survivor
- More leap power
- No tongue delay (immediately starts dragging survivors)
- Smoker’s tongue bends more (Smoker could drag survivors from out-of-sight places)
- Smoker won’t drop survivors untill he’s dead
- Harder to shoot Smoker’s tongue & tongue has smaller hitbox
- Faster damage interval (each 0.8s)
- Smoker’s tongue flies much faster
- Tongue health increased from 50 to 150
- When missed, tries again after 10s
- Smoker starts dealing damage immediately after dragging a survivor
- Increased Smoker’s attack range
- Survivors have slightly worse accuracy when being dragged
- No drag delay
- Increased Smoker’s speed
- High chance that a Spitter will spawn mid horde
- Spitter ability cooldown decreased to 3s ~ 5s
- More range (Spitter will spit from further away)
- Higher Spitter speed
- Spitter’s spit detonates immediately
- Spitter’s spit no latency (no delay for the spit to be applied on the ground)
- No spit spread delay (immediately spreads on the ground and covers its radius)
- Spitter’s spit travels much faster
- Gas Cans destroys in 0.5s in spit (versus)
- Bigger spit radius
- Faster Tank hit interval (attacks each 1s instead of 1.5s)
- shoutguns deals less damage to Tanks
- Tank slowdown radius decreased
- Grenade/Luncher damage to Tanks decreased
- Less stagger duration
- Higher rock radius
- Higher speed (240)
- Much more throw force
- More rock health (100HP instead of 50HP)
- Tank Throws less rocks and uses more swings
- Higher attack range & swing range
- Tank won’t pound the ground (when he stops and starts pounding the ground or his chest)
- Tank will throw rocks overhead & lower throws
- Won’t suicide when stuck (It won’t mak him unstuck)
- Tank will switch between targets when stuck to try unstuck himself
- Larger swing angle
- Immediately swings when a survivors is in range (you can’t dodge a swing no more)
- Throws is much accurate and harder to dodge without cover
- Witch rages faster with higher anger rate
- Witch’s attack range increased
- Witch’s personal space increased (Harder to approach her)
- Witch’s damage increased to 50 per hit
- Witch will now run after you even if you’re far from her (usually she relaxes if you’re far away)
- Witch spots flashlight from larger area
- Witch’s normal/injured speed increased
- Witch will not retreat
