Description:

I disliked how AI Gelt ended up conquering much of Cathay. When playing as him the choices you have are interesting, but AI Gelt really feels like he should be starting somewhere else that keeps the campaign’s flavor intact.

This mod moves the Golden Order to Akendorf in the Border Princes, starting at war with the Border Princes. Gelt serves to reconquer the lost province of Lichtenberg and spread Sigmar’s law to his homeland.

I definitely recommend using this alongside True World Light so Skrag doesn’t start in the same province as Gelt.

Changes:
  • On Immortal Empires, AI Balthasar Gelt now starts in Akendorf in his homeland of the Border Princes instead of in Cathay. His player-controlled start is left unchanged.
  • When not playing as Balthasar Gelt, the Border Princes start in control of Varenka Hills and are at war with the Golden Order to contest the Empire’s violation of their sovereignty.

Compatibility:

This mod should be compatible with any other mod that doesn’t mess with the starting location of factions being moved, as it is almost entirely script-based. It is compatible with both Mixu’s unlocker and Immortal Empires Expanded.
