Murder Doctrines
Determines what the stance is regarding characters with the murderer trait
- Illegal: Any character with the murderer trait is a criminal
- Shunned: It merely gives an opinion penalty (Vanilla’s default beheaviour)
- Accepted: No opinion penalty
- Virtuous: Makes the murderer trait a virtue (Requires Sacred Murder / Feyadeen tenet)
Determines if characters make an exception if the victim is related to them
- Dynastic is Criminal: If the victim is part of their dynasty, they consider the murderer a criminal
- Familial is Criminal: If the victim is part of their extended family (or closer), they consider the murderer a criminal
- Close-Kin is Criminal: If the victim is part of their close family, they consider the murderer a criminal (Vanilla’s default behaviour)
- Indifferent: No additional opinion penalty, doesn’t matter who the victim is
This adds the doctrines on game start, if you load a save from before you had the mod, these will only show up if you reform faith. By default, the doctrines added are determined by the faith’s kinslaying doctrine.
- To mirror default behaviour, the murder doctrine defaults to shunned for any non-accepting kinslayer faith
- A new game rule allows you to modify what it defaults to
- The murder relation is directly determined by the kinslaying doctrine on game start
This overrides the murderer trait checks, aswell as the trait itself alongside some additional checks for murder schemes.
New
Added a game rule to select the default option for the ‘Murder’ doctrine. You may choose for the exception mentioned above regarding kinslaying doctrines, or to choose one to apply it for every faith regardless.
