THE SUMMONERS OF NEW VESPER
New Vesper, the port city of the Summoners of the Three, has a problem. The summoning stones that link their sacred statues to the eternal essence of the Three have been stolen. Help the Summoners find their lost summoning stones, and they will train you in their ways.
Summoners call upon the essence of soldiers, priests, and mages, bringing forth powerful beings to aid in battle. But such power comes at a cost. Summoning magic leaves the caster drained. To train as a Summoner, visit the class trainer in New Vesper, located southwest of Fantlin at 126S and 108W, and then find their lost summoning stones, scattered to the farthest reaches of Eral, with the help of a magical compass.
The quest to retrieve the lost summoning stones will take you to three different adventure locations, each with at least one combat encounter of moderate to high difficulty. If your crew can handle the more formidable enemies in the base game, you should be fine.
It is recommended that Edmina from Ports of Ill Repute accompany you on this adventure, as she will have some commentary on the events that unfold. Of course, you can also undertake this adventure without her. The mods are not dependent upon one another. Furthermore, keep the magical compass out of containers if you want the secret quest locations to actually show up on the overworld.

Summoner: a caster that can call forth powerful allies
- The Legion: Summon up to three soldiers with spears and the ability to counter. Inflicts Silence and Disable on the Summoner.
- The Priestess: Summon a priestess who can heal and cure with a single spell. Has a passive that heals allies each round. Inflicts Silence and Disable on the Summoner.
- The Prophet: Summon a mage that blasts out a beam of magic that lowers enemy defenses. Has a passive that damages afflicted enemies each round. Inflicts Silence and Disable on the Summoner.
- Strengthen The Bond: Improve a summoned unit’s physical and magical attack.
- Break The Bond: Dispel a summoned unit, damaging adjacent creatures and healing all party members.
- Strength Of Essence: Increased EXP gain.
- Invocation: Reduce the duration of incoming Silence and Disable effects.
- The Cycle: At the start of your turn, gain HP if disabled and MP if silenced. Affects adjacent allies too.
- Flesh Of My Flesh: Summoned units gain extra HP, but summoning now costs a small amount of HP in addition to its MP cost.
