[CWL Adventurer] Misery’s Beloved: Nier
A unique NPC to accompany you in your travels with her own feats, weapon, and spells. You can find her wandering the Lumiest Graveyard.
She is unlike other Unique NPCs though, in that you cannot recruit her through the usual methods, and instead is simply recruited by talking and listening to her.
She is quite the strong ally, but her abilities are quite unorthodox. Use her at your own risk.
Some of her abilities become stronger if you reach specific requirements with her (hint: her desire.)
No, she does not have Death Reversed.
No, her story is not happy.
Nier is a summoner type ally who has an exclusive summon, the Major Arcarum Death. Her main role is a support type that focuses on buffing the main character.
Summon Death: Summons her ally, Death, to help fight. Death is incredibly strong, but is a temporary summon.
World of Death and Love: Causes everyone in the current zone to deal increase damage, this includes enemies.
My Beloved: If in the party, boosts PC’s speed and damage reduction.
Eternal Vow: When Nier dies, buffs the PC with increased damage and damage reduction. Debuffs everyone else in the current zone with reduced damage reduction and stops any source of healing. This includes your other teammates.
Lovers-Death’s Demise: When allies die, Nier gains a stacking buff to her own damage and damage reduction.

Nier the character and the assets used in this mod are from the game Granblue Fantasy by Cygames.

2025-05-27 : Fixed a bug with perf and World of Death and Love. Fixed a bug where World of Death and Love wasn’t being applied to everyone, only the PC. JP and CN localizations added.
2025-05-28 : Fixed a bug where the CN dialog file was named incorrectly.
2025-06-02 : Restructured dialog so that we can actually leave her at base (how could you?). Nerfed the My Beloved buff a little bit… 300% speed was too much.
2025-09-02 : Fixed outdated sheet headers. Nier should be back!
