Religious L4D1 Specials Pack
"Everybody, gather around. Let’s pray"
This pack contains 3 skins for Special Infected: Hunter, Smoker and Boomer. Replaces their L4D1 versions.
I made them with the idea that all of them could replace Church guy. This whole idea was inspired by Eranthis’ Reverend Smoker. Originally, I wasn’t planning on releasing these and wanted to just give them to Rise, so that they could be used in a pack of some kind, but changed my mind and decided to publish them.
The Boomer’s texture was made from Eranthis’ Mall Cop Boomer, I’ve also changed up the patches on his shoulders and I feel like they fit him really well, especially when I made a custom normal map for him. The Smoker’s texture wasn’t that hard either – just make him look younger and edit the noraml map. However, I was struggling with the hunter, I wasn’t sure what to do with him, aside from the cross on his neck. But then I decided to put in a bit of irony and add angel wings on the back of his hoodie, since he’s the closest thing to a flying infected we have, and you bet I’ve added a custom normal map to him, to make the wings and the cross have volume.
