Obsidia Expansion – Liches Xenotype
The main innovation of the mod is the Liches xenotypes, from the planet Obsidia.
Liches, according to ancient legends, are magical undead beings, but in reality, they are the result of centuries of genetic experiments, created for the forgotten heroes and the secret elite of Obsidia society. These beings aren’t devoid of vital organs; instead, they use recreated analogs powered by their own psy-power. To sustain themselves, Liches require neither sleep nor food, instead consuming large quantities of Hemogen. Their skeletal bodies are much lighter, which renders them immune to pain but also makes them more fragile and extremely vulnerable to blunt and blast damage due to their bone structure. Liches are highly sensitive to sunlight, preferring darkness, but they possess extraordinary immunity and regenerative abilities.
- Lich – have unique powers such as Submissive Touch, which diminishes the willpower of their target, making them more compliant, and Cursing Sight, which emits energy from their eyes, weakening a single opponent. They are skilled in Intellectual, but they struggle with Animals and Plants. A key characteristic of Liches is their commitment to bodily purity; they believe the human body is inherently limited for a reason. For these beings, born perfect, artificial body parts are considered unethical and repulsive. They firmly believe that preserving the natural, unaltered form is essential for true human integrity.
- Archlich – have unique powers such as Submissive Touch, which diminishes the willpower of their target, making them more compliant, Cursing Sight, which emits energy from their eyes, weakening a single opponent and Mass Cursing Sight, which affects multiple enemies within range. They are skilled in Intellectual and excel in both melee and ranged combat, but they struggle with Animals, Plants and Coocking. A key characteristic of Liches is their commitment to bodily purity; they believe the human body is inherently limited for a reason. For these beings, born perfect, artificial body parts are considered unethical and repulsive. They firmly believe that preserving the natural, unaltered form is essential for true human integrity.
