Reverant Armor – Modular
Hello people
here are my first armor. It is a modular armor. What that means, same armor, just different parts.
You have 5 sets for your disposal. Everyone has it own advantage and disadvantage.
First armor set unlocked at research bench lvl 3. After some study you can craft it at the leather crafting bench.
The rest of the set you get if you reach lvl 4 research bench. You will need some ancient books. I tryed to make some lore around it, nothing fancy, wish i can immerse somehow.
Armor balance is probably not that well thoughtful, if someone have ideas / critic please share it with me.
I did not implement other possibilities to get the armor. No blueprints, no traders. Later on i will see if i make some npcs use it. But at this point i dont know which one will be logical / immersive. Feedback & Ideas are welcome.
Stats = Leather Armor bit better, + better cover.

Player Faction only
Lvl 3 Research first set
Lvl 4 Research all the rest

A new modular armor. Model, texture and the idea come out of nowhere. I played kenshi like everyday. But this day it annoyed me to always see the same. The merc leather armor. Only real leather armor ingame, you dont have any other option. I like that medium but not to hard idea. Still, you have to put full armor set on you and you cant do anything modular.
This is how my journey started. Blender. Oh guys, that was fun. This mod was at the start for personal use. But after 30 hours of reading, watching youtube and learning how to use the basic to even get something look like a model… uff. Harold, hide the pain. After the learning and testing, i startet my first journey to create my idea. I was like a little kid, back in the days, so happy to use my knowledge… but yeah. It was just the start. I wont bore you with details, but boy ! That was some pain in the♥♥♥♥♥
For real, i hope more guys get to modding & modeling in Kenshi. Yes it is pain in the♥♥♥♥♥to learn all that.. BUT you can create anything what you want. Your imagination is the limit. So for real, invested in this one armor, with all modeling, texturing and tweaking about 50h. And i can say you that :
It was worth it.
