Scan All Stations
All stations in the entire galaxy are discovered, scanned to 100%, and given updated snapshots on game start. The scan is refreshed on game load. The refresh catches any newly built stations between sessions.
For a complete description of the scanning information revealed, check the Station Scanning page of my Steam Guide.
Data leaks are unchanged. Black markets not discovered. Trade subscription not included.
These mechanics are unrelated to the scanning information system.
Snapshots are up to date data, such as pricing information. It is normally refreshed when your assets have vision of the station, and decays after losing vision for a while. Satellites covering a station or the trade subscription keeps permanent snapshots.
This mod does not keep permanent snapshots unless you purposefully reload after the snapshots expire, or your typical session length is shorter than the snapshot length. It purposefully only scans on load to limit the performance impact which would occur if it continually scanned on a timer while playing the game.
The mod does not discover sectors, but all stations within undiscovered sectors will be fully revealed once you discover the sector.
Sometimes this mod reveals stations that are very far from the sector core. This is a vanilla problem. The station has always existed, you would just never notice it without this mod revealing it.
Certain distant stations, like those near the tentacle monster in Grand Exchange I, are intentional Easter Eggs.
If you only want to remove the tedium of manually scanning stations, use this mod:
