Struggle for Freedom
The Year is 2052, and a lot has changed… for the worse.

Union of American States (UAS):
In 2032, the world famous United States of America had been overthrown by a group of Totalitarians that would assert their control over N. America with an iron fist. They would then move east towards Europe and Israel, toppling NATO and asserting their control over western Europe and the Holy Land. By 2052, the UAS would make their move towards South Africa and Japan… where their fate is up to you.
United Republics of Russia (URR):
In 2028, ww3 would be narrowly avoided as a Democratic Civil War would blaze upon the Russian Federation. The original government would be toppled, and a truly free Russia would be established. After the Old American government was overthrown in 2032, the newly formed URR would assist NATO, and manage to keep Central & Eastern Europe stable and united afterward. By 2052, they stand as one of the last bastions for True Freedom and Democracy.
United Councils of China (UCC):
The Instability and uprisings in the 2030s would cause the CCP to be completely overthrown. The People would try to install a Democracy, but it would collapse in 2046, where then a Council system would be established, with no limits or restrictions. The Council system would spread to nearby nations, with some being invaded and some being having their governments toppled… but by 2052, China remains united under the Stone fist of the Council.
"Free" Nations:
The Nations that call themselves "free" are a false hope. They are non-aligned conquerors that have nowhere else to conquer. By 2052, they stand quiet and determined, waiting for the next upcoming conflict to begin their next conquest.

During the American onslaught in 2032, Canada and the United Kingdom had two research facilities housing extremely powerful nuclear weaponry. The most powerful nuke, dubbed the "Washington Bomb" could turn multiple cities and a nearby radius into nuclear wasteland. This nuke was stored in Canada, and the UAS had obtained it after the Invasion and occupation of Canada. The United Kingdom on the other hand, had the second most powerful nuke, dubbed the "Britannia Bomb" could wipe out an entire area just like the Washington Bomb, but with a smaller radius. Britain launched it towards the White North Facility, and it caused mass devastation and the loss of all experiments in the facility. However, the Americans had moved the Washington bomb, and it took only 1 hour for the UAS to respond, which had resulted in the Cambridge Facility, Southern England, and northern France to be engulfed in Nuclear flame. Since then, the British Isles has dealt with non-stop Anarchy and an exiled government for 2 decades until 2052… where you decide the British fate.
_ _ _ | Earth’s Climate | _ _ _
The Climate is horrible. The United Nations tried to regulate it in the 2020s, but it failed after WW3 (2032 – 2035), would end with New American victory. The UN would move to Luxembourg, where they would demilitarize the eastern borders to Central Europe. Afterward, the now extremely powerful industrial UAS would continue to pump CO2 into the atmosphere. As a result, the Sahara has expanded, Snow and tundras have receded to the poles, and overall the Deserts have gotten bigger. No one is regulating them now except for a barely functioning UN. By 2052, its up to you what happens next.

In 2027, the Old USA would land on Luna, establishing a permanent Lunar Colony. China and Russia would colonize in 2029. Britain would Colonize the Moon in 2030… with Brazil being the last to colonize in mid-2049. Mars would be colonized by the URR in 2041, and the United Nations would intervene a year later when the UAS and UCC would establish their Martian Colonies. In 2043, the barely stable British would colonize Mars. In 2051, the last Colony would be established by Switzerland. By 2052, the effects of Space Junk being unregulated would cause the Nations of the Earth to be trapped under millions of non-functional and non-useful Space Junk, completely destroying any sci-fi plans for the next 100 years. That is until October 2052… when the Swiss discover on Mars that we aren’t the only advanced lifeforms in the universe…

All of the world is united in their separate alliances with each other. For Example, the "South Atlantic Treaty Organization" is an alliance between South American Nations and Two nations in Southwest Africa. All it takes is one competent Alliance, and the world to unite humanity.
