Union no more
This is an alternate history mod based on this reddit post. Basically, the constituent states immediately enter a political deadlock during the first couple Congresses compounded with uprisings and wars cause the constituent states of the United States to gradually leave the Union before 1803. With regards to Louisiana and Florida: New Orleans is captured by the British from the paltry local militia in 1812 (as Louisiana doesn’t get sold to the US) and is ceded to Britain as a colony at the Congress of Vienna. Florida is returned to the Spanish at the Congress as well. As Anglo settlers from what used to be the United States no longer have the space and political power to migrate into surrounding foreign colonies and territories, Texas and Florida don’t have large secessionist populations clamoring to join the US in order to maintain slavery.
This mod was built with CaelReader’s Tecumseh’s Legacy mod as a foundational block as I based the United Indian Confederacy in this mod on his work there.
This mod was also built with Bamcat’s North American Cities Fixed integrated as otherwise there would be file conflicts.
