Welcome to Maids of Orleans — a mod that introduces a lot of new content surrounding the legacy of Joan of Arc.
New mission tree for Orléans
Take over French vassals from the inside, defend the legacy of the Maiden of Orléans, become a pearl of French culture, and embrace your new role as the Militant Order of Nuns.
New formable nation
Not only can you unlock a unique government early in the game, but you can also form a new nation of Sisterhood that intertwines French identity with the legacy of Saint Joan. This formable has powerful, unique national ideas and full access to French missions.
Choose your path
After the Pope allowed Saint Joan to be burned alive, can he truly be trusted? Choose your path — follow the Catholic, Protestant, or Orthodox route. Each one provides different flavor. Release an icon of Saint Joan, establish a holiday in her name, or even become the first female Pope.
New government reforms
Once you become the Order of Nuns, you’ll gain access to several new and unique reforms. Protect women, grant them rights, let them lead your country — and bring it to glory. (Ever wanted militarization mechanics with battle nuns?)
New monument
The province of Orléans now features the Cathédrale Sainte-Croix d’Orléans as a monument. It’s not overly powerful, but it helps set the tone and atmosphere.
