Black Mesa HEV Suit Playermodel Pack
A playermodel pack featuring the Black Mesa 2015 suit and some edits I threw together.
1) Black Mesa 2015 HEV — The story behind this model is simple; Black Mesa added a new HEV Suit design around the time of the Crossfire update, but they didn’t update the HEV-Wearing NPCs to have the same model, instead using the older 2012 design. Luckily, Paynamia corrected this wrong with their Updated HEV Player + Xen workshop item, which is the basis for this design of the Playermodel
2) BMS 2015 – Mk V Fusion — If you’ve ever looked at the 2015 Black Mesa suit, you’ll realize it’s a nearly shameless redeco of Half-Life 2’s HEV Mark V, featuring the light bars on the center of the arms, and the strange floating waistpiece. I made a quick set of textures and a slight modification to the chestpiece to make a reverse-engineered Mk V suit. Featuring the Fewes hands from the Fewes HEV Hands for GMod addon, as I don’t think I can cleanly edit the BMS Hands to look like the Mark V gloves.
3) Unused Steam Card Design — This one I threw in for fun. I made an edit of the suit to look like an unused Steam Card featuring an HEV Suit that was a strange fusion between the Mark IV and V. Check out that Black Mesa addon here!
