Evolving Diseases

Welcome to the Evolving Diseases mod. This mod has come from the new features of The Forgotten Dungeons that was built to expand Diseases into a much more complex mechanic.

Getting down to business you’ll see that every disease now has 3 (in most cases) stages each starting with a symptom and steadily getting worse.

Many diseases share symptoms which can hide what the ultimate disease may end up being. On top of all this some diseases will kill your heroes if they aren’t cured quickly enough.

A few other changes have also been made to make diseases harder to counteract thus allowing them to progress unhindered. Among this is sanitarium prices as well as camping treatment removal.

As I do not frequently work with vanilla Darkest Dungeon files there may be some errors that I won’t find. Please let me know if you find anything bugs or inconsistencies.

Any mods that change quirks or the ghoul/rabid dog in particular will likely not be compatible with this mod. Using this mod will remove any current diseases on your heroes except the Crimson Curse.

Lastly this mod is only supported for the english language currently. (other languages should show in english)
