Parasect
PARASECT wrests control over the competition! Hailing from the Kanto Region, Parasect is really the parasitic mushroom host which controls the bug it’s engrained in. The bug is mostly dead. In Smack Studio, Parasect is a slow and small, but extremely punishing character with big damage and moves that control space and set up combos!
SPECIALS
NEUTRAL B: Spore
Parasect expels a large cloud of spores around it’s own body. These spores will stun any opponent who comes into contact with them! Deals no damage on it’s own. Has a pretty long cooldown, so be careful to make it count.
SIDE B: Energy Ball
Parasect fires a ball of concentrated energy that flies straight forward. A decent far range option. It also appears on Parasect’s forward throw!
UP B: Aerial Ace
(Yes, Parasect can learn this move.) Parasect shoots up into the sky to what feels like an extremely uncharacteristic height. The attack is extremely weak, but it travels quite high into the air and also gives Parasect a boost to its air speed!
DOWN B: Poison Powder
Parasect expels a cloud of spores, like Neutral Special, but this one lingers around for a lot longer and deals no stun or knockback, only damage. This move can do a ton of damage if you can keep your opponent trapped in it with a grab or with Parasect’s ultra.
ULTRA: Z-Spore
Parasect fires a massive Spore cloud around its body. The move deals low damage for an ultra, but has MASSIVE histun. Hitting this move pretty much guarantees you get any followup you want.
