The Tyrant Queen of Florida storms into Smack Studio!
Squishy is a real-world Taekwondo black belt, and master of her signature Dual Kama fighting style. Her malleable nature allows her to move about with ease, as well as take more than a hit or two.
Bang and Slash
Squishy’s chosen weapons; a pair of branded handaxes of her own design. She uses them for a number of strong attacks and quick strikes.
Why Squishy?
One can bet that the person reading this description would’ve expected a long and drawn-out lore explanation for the reason Squishy is, well… Squishy. I regret to inform you that I have no explanation for the squishiness. She just is… Deal with it, I suppose.
LAY INTO ‘EM WITH [THE REAPER’S KNOCK]
(Jab x10)
This 10 hit combo can turn the tide of battle quickly! You can hold the button down to continue the combo, but your opponents can DI out, so take care not to over-commit!
CLEAVE THE HORIZON WITH THE [WORLDSLICER]
(Neutral Special)
Launch one of Squishy’s axes at an incredible speed, sniping any that cross its path. The Axe comes back to Squishy from the other end of the stage. Use this to trick opponents into approaching too soon.
CHARGE FORTH WITH THE [SQUISH ENGINE]
(Side Special)
This powerful charging clothesline will send all in its wake tumbling down. Squishy has super armor during the rush forward, making this attack useful as a safe recovery option. [SQUISH ENGINE] can also be held down to delay the charging clothesline.
SHE JUST WILL NOT DIE
Squishy can use a variety of moves to recover back to stage:
– Her Up Special, the [SQUISHRYUKEN], of course – Then there’s the [HAIRECOPTER], which you can use with Up Air – She can also use her Side Special, the [SQUISH ENGINE] as a recovery move as well. – She can even climb walls with her handaxes. Only once while off-stage, though!
