The Phony
This twisted version of Thalia has been manipulated and shaped into a mindless servant, loyal only to Erans, her twisted god. Witness the wrath of a shapeshifter forced into a life of endless conquest and torment. Be prepared, for nothing on this battlefield is what it seems when the Phony is near.
The Phony opens her hands wide, welcoming chaos into her grasp! She can catch projectiles or even opponents with ease. If she grabs an opponent, she traps them in her hands and throws them aside with brutal force. But if she catches a projectile, she absorbs it into her being, gaining an install effect that lasts until she hits someone. When she strikes, she unleashes the cursed Kurai Hono Bomber, a soul-shattering effect that sends her target spiraling into chaos!
The Phony’s grip knows no bounds! She reaches out with her hand, extending her grab to ensnare any opponent in her path. She can perform a variety of devastating follow-up attacks, but if you wait too long, she’ll let go. The possibilities are endless, but timing is everything!
- Back: Phony throws her opponent behind her, as though they were nothing more than a ragdoll.
- Forward: Phony dashes forward, piercing through her enemy. Press Special during this dash, and she?ll dash back, piercing through once more and potentially applying the Kurai Hono Bomber for devastating results.
- Air: The Phony lashes out with a three-hit claw swipe that sends her soaring into the air with her opponent, avoiding pratfall and giving her the chance to strike again!
- Ground: Phony slams the opponent into the earth with a brutal anti-air grab, setting up for a powerful combo that will leave enemies reeling!
- Ground: The Phony lunges forward with unbridled fury, piercing her opponent and slamming them into the ground with her head in a devastating display of force.
- Air: In the air, Phony grabs her opponent and sends them flying upwards with a simple but effective throw. The unpredictability of this move catches even the most experienced fighters off guard!
The Kurai Hono Bomber is a sinister force tied to certain moves in Phony’s arsenal, including her tilts, side special, and neutral special. If she lands a hit under the right conditions, a mist of purple flames will surround her opponent, searing their soul with unrelenting intensity. Though the flames deal no physical damage, their effects are enough to make any fighter fear what comes next, an inevitable spike to the depths of despair!
