Real Tycoon Loans
Makes loans far more worthwhile ($87,500 steps instead of $25,000 steps) while increasing the interest rates from 1% to 7.5%. Don’t let your interest-only loans sit around for too long!
This simple mod just changes some default values for loans. This was a little harder than I thought since these numbers are actually magic numbers in the game code and there are no definitions for any of them. There are also managers for everything except loans, including an InflationManager. I liked the default amount of loan steps there were so I just increased the amount from every step and upped the interest a lot. I mean a really good amount. Make loans feel like LOANS if you know what I mean. Not just a free cash dump
Changes:
Loan interest increased from 1% to 7.5% (before difficulty multiplier)
Loan step increased from $25,000 to $87,500
Default loan interest multipliers (so you can tune your settings how you want right):
Very easy: 0
Easy: 0.5
Normal: 1
Hard: 1.5 (the best at 11.25% interest rate)
Default
Does not work with existing saves before this mod. If it did, you basically defaulted on your loans with no repercussions every time you reloaded the save
