Van’s Stuff Collection (No Dependencies)
A collection of various items I’ve made.
Electric Arc Lighter: An electric arc lighter. It uses 9V batteries as a power source. Animated lid opens and closes with turn on/off action. When turned on, has an animated electrical arc with sound. Can ignite items as long as it is powered and turned on. Orange and olive drab color variants, more colors and custom variants to come in future updates. In a survival situation, a reliable way to make fire is critical!
Massive thanks to Spurgle’s tutorials, without which I’m confident I never would have learned this stuff. Thanks to Zelik for remaking the model I’d gotten and optimizing it for DayZ. Thanks to Munghard for inspiration from the Zippo. Thanks to the Expansion team for the propane torch, which helped me learn the scripting for this lighter. Thanks to Vodevik for some ObjectBuilder info. This was actually my first mod idea, but I had a LOT to learn before I could finally make it!
Riding crop: two variants, simple and fancy. I’ve never seen horses in DayZ. Have you? Wonder what these were used for before the apocalypse? Maybe these will go well with Arrakis’ Dongs… 😀
KaBar: a combat and survival knife which is twice as durable (and probably like 10 times as cool looking…) as the standard knife. Tired of your basic knives getting dull after shaving off 3 pieces of bark? Here you go! Tough as nails!
Katana: A basic katana I made while learning.
