"The Stonebridge" 507th PIR D-Day+1 [Mission]

Join the 82nd as the 507th Paratrooper Infantry Regiment during operation Overlord in Normandy on D-Day+1
The 507th PIRs were to be dropped near the west bank of the Merderet River. The objectives was to establish defensive positions in those areas and prepare to attack westward sealing off the Cotentin Peninsula.
This mission isn’t accurate to one historical spot, but more of an inspiration of multiple locations and Skirmishes that took place.

Gamemode: Operation (8 phases)
Attackers: United States (allies) 507th Paratrooper Infantry Regiment
Defenders: Germany (axis) 91st Infantry Division and 1058th Grenadier Regiment

Secure the area and take out any artillery guns, then capture and hold a Stone bridge 2.1 km East of Fresville.
This Stone bridge is the back door for the Germans to cut us off from Sainte-Mere-Eglise, and allow for them to counter attack the 101st airborne.

Intelligence report the 91st Infantry division are holding this location and awaiting reinforcements from the 1058th Grenadier Regiment.
They are armed with Anti-Aircraft guns and Artillery, they are wounded, and low on ammunition.

The 507th Paratrooper Infantry Regiment are equipped with several squads with different variations of weapons.

— Rifle squad (12 enlisted) equipped M1 Rifle, M1A1 Carbine

— Assault Team (10 enlisted) M1A1 Thompson, M3 Grease gun, M1918A2 BAR

— Anti-Tank squad (5 enlisted) M3 Grease gun, M9A1 Bazooka

— Light machine gun squad (5 enlisted) M1 Rifle, M1919A4 Browning.

— Recon squad (3 enlisted) M1 Rifle, scoped M1903 Springfield

— Mortar squad (2 enlisted) 60mm mortar

I Added custom music and background to this mission.
This makes everything more intense and dramatic.
If you find the music annoying, please just turn your music volume all the way down to zero.
This mission was inspired from video games like Call of Duty, Medal of Honor and the Brothers in Arms series.
