TG Overhaul – Battle – Nerf Pike (SUB-MOD)
This submod, based on the TG Overhaul – Battle mod, tones down the power of the pike phalanx.
Previously, their frontal combat power was near-invincible, allowing even basic Levy Pikemen to beat Oathsworn.
I’ve nerfed this to a level that is still strong, but not broken.
Infantry can now get in the pikemen’s faces more easily than before, but they will still suffer for it.
As a trade-off, I’ve reinforced their melee defense, so they won’t just melt like ice cream the moment an enemy hits their flank.
The result is that this discourages exploitative play, while also helping the dumb AI’s pikemen actually be worth their cost.
Important: Make sure you load this mod above the TG Overhaul – Battle mod in your load order for it to work properly.
