Kenshi Tweaks, starts, races
The purpose of this mod is to provide a more conventional RPG experience and to also reduce downtime and move progression forward as well as add some subtle comedy and surprises.
Some changes and additions include:
4 New Races -Ashlanders, Stormlanders, Shek Immortals (With hair), Barbarians
Enhanced Mongrel city – A few new shops, new NPCs
Enhanced The Hub – More everything.. shops, NPCs, recruits.
Enhanced Squin – More shops
8 new starts – Bounty Hunter – Hub, Mongrel, Squin (3 separate starts) Legendary sword, rockier bottom, Unarmed start, Footman start, Max
More enemies/new types – 3 new dust bandit types, 2 elite types and 1 roaming boss type
more loot! Many of the classic bandits, predator type animals, and bosses have new and well fleshed out bounties and/or loot tables. A lot of normal enemies drop strings of cats now.
Shorter but more difficult fights. Combat animations are 3 times as fast, no more stun or dodge locking, you bleed more but heal faster, wounds degenerate slower, blood stops flowing sooner.
Randomized stats for new starts. Bounty hunter starts are 35 base and 30 variable +/- others vary
Randomized damage reduction from toughness to simulate critical hits. Craft edgewalkers and meitou
Some armors allow color now
Backpacks enhanced and some new additions. Bags hold more slightly more, penalties reduced
Wildlife of all kinds will no longer ignore each other and most should fight. Color variances. WIP
All vanilla races enabled. Most are modified with new stats.
2 attack slots (two people can attack one person at a time instead of the base 1) Makes it a bit harder starting off but more balanced later on when you get full squad(s)
Modified resource gathering speed and storage quantity. Stack 50 ore in resource nodes. Faster extraction.
The small shack, makeshift walls, vanilla training equipment and first research bench as well as all camping stuff no longer cause a player town to be made. Anything else will as normal.
I will be updating this mod on a regular basis until I feel that the mod touches nearly every aspect of the game to add more depth and surprise into the game.
There are over 2100 changes to this mod now as of 05/09/19.
