Mexican Companies and Prestige Goods

I’ve decided that Mexico (my home country) needed new companies, so I created this mod in my free time.

The companies I’ve added are (hopefully) balanced and inspired by real history —although the actual companies never reached the heights you’ll be able to achieve in-game.

Some of the logos are not historically accurate, as I couldn’t find references for them online. However, I tried to design them as closely and respectfully as possible.

Fábrica de Hilados y Tejidos de Río Blanco – (original pg) Charro clothing

Compañía Minera Real del Monte – Gold mining

Ferrocarriles Nacionales de México – Railways and engines

La Cubana – (original pg) Chocolate

Fincas Cafetaleras de Chiapas – (original pg) Chiapaneco coffee

Fábrica Nacional de Armas – (original pg) Mondragón rifle

Tequilera Jose Cuervo – (original pg) Tequila

Fábricas de Papel de San Rafael y Anexas – Paper

Compañía Trasatlántica Mexicana – swift merchant marine

Compañía Mexicana de Luz y Fuerza Motriz – fine cabinet telephone

Casa Fernández Somellera y Stevens – high-end vehicle

Since I have added more companies, I have given Fábrica Nacional de Armas and Ferrocarriles Nacionales de México a +1 company bonus each. I justified this because they are not traditional companies but rather state-owned entities.

This mod supports both English and Spanish.
