Introduction

Welcome fellow Empire enthusiasts!

Hopefully this Empire Reskin is an improvement from my last instalments, ive dabbled in dark magic (asset editor) alongside with substance painter to bring to you a whole new look. This Empire reskin strives to resemble artwork and tabletop depictions of our beloved heroes with a pinch(bucket) of variation. Hope you guys enjoy this one!

Lorefriendly Wise

Will be some liberties here and there. Mainly faction colours, had to rearrange some factions i.e Middenland is now Blue and White (representing Middenheim) as it is a far better combination then that of its predecessor. Wissenland is sporting a Black and red combo (nuln).

Features

– Purely cosmetic (no stat changes)
– Save game combatible

A variety of custom assets used from vanilla models
– Helmet for reiksguard (stechhelm)
– plume variation for empire knights
– Cloth horse bridle variants for knights & Reiksguard
– New crest variants for Demi knights
– helmet variation for Demi knights
– variation for Demigryph mounts armour
– new helmet with plume variation for Greatswords & Outriders
– New face for Pistoliers, sporting the new facial hair and plume variation
– pauldrons for Outriders & Pistoliers
– glove armour for Outriders
– Unique beards+moustaches applied to state troops, Outriders & Greatswords (15 variants in total)
– New "helm&cap" variants added to State Troop units & Artillery Crew
– knee armour for State Troops
– thigh armour for State Troops
– Bandoliers for handgunners (bit of kitbashing)
– Puffy sleeves for state troopers
– New handgunner torsos
– RoR units contain some modified helmets and hats

New textures
– All state troop bodies
– Archer bodies
– huntsmen bodies
– Artillery crew
– Outrider/Pistolier armour
– State Troop & Reiksguard shields
– RoR units (listed in new update on changenotes)
– Provincial Shields

Added variation via mesh editing
– flipping faction colour placement on models
– splitting heads into seperate parts i.e helm, face & extras
– Vanilla is tapped out to 5 variants each for legs, torso & helmet
Adjusted so that the variants branch out (average 10 variants each)
– placement "Probability" e.g knee armour 70% on leg variants

Other
– Faction colours redone
– A third faction colour for each empire faction (represented mainly by plumes and some shields)
– Fixed a few LOD issues for vanilla textures
– Avoided/resolved any LOD issues for modded textures
– Fixed any vanilla/modded clipping issues i came across
– Marienburg faction paint scheme playable in Custom Battle
– Some vanilla textures tweaked e.g greatsword torsos

Compatability

Being a reskin mod this should be compatible with most mods apart from ones that change appearance of the empire..
i would advise testing it yourself with other reskin mods, as load order can effect them differently.

Known Issues

– Some crappy belt textures ill redo
– Dismemberment issues (will fix next update)
