Fire Ammo Carriers 2.0 SeF (+6 Factions) – Silence & Fury Updated

But this will change now, I proposed to our great leader, mighty Franz, to estabilish on our armies what I planned to call "Military Logistics" projects. Interested on my proposal, Franz accepted it, and now the Imperial Ammunition Suppliers are a new unit type on the Imperial Corps, they are trained to bring all the ammunition we can carry to war, and quickly give them in bags to our ranged troops on the battlefield, so they will never need to leave their positions again"
Tired of having your troops running out of ammo? Tired of preparing a beautiful defence formation like a boss general and then be forced to launch your ammo-depleted ranged on a suicidal and incomprehensible attack over the enemy in melee? This mod is for you!
In all my years of Total War Warhammer playing and participating on the Community, many players had the persistent wish for the game to release a Ammo ressuply unit, like a ammo cart. Now that I’m learning about the art of modding, I’ve decided to finally bring this wish to reality!
This mod adds Ammunition suppliers as units for:
- The Empire – Dragoon Ammo carriers
- Dwarves – Ammo carrier Ironbreakers
- High Elves – Ammo Carrier Elyirian cavalry
- Wood Elves – Ammo Carrier Wild riders
- Brettonia – Ammo Carrier Peasants
- Lizardmen – Ammo Carrier bastilladon
More factions can come up, Suggest here
- Ammunition Resupplier: These units are trained to deliver ammunition and replenish ranged troops, most times they priorize agility to reach the ranged troops positions. The ability reaches a considerable range, and when activated it immobilize the ranged unit (so they can reload, use wisely) during some seconds. It has 10 uses and replenish 20 points of ammo (almost all the points of every unit).
All of them skirmish. - Support Unit: To carry good amounts of other ammo types, these units have most of their original stats and abilities worse than their variants (Example: Ironbreakers don’t throw explosives, Dragoons use smaller bullets…), . BE WARNED THAT THEY ARE WEAK TO FACE-TO-FACE COMBATS, DO NOT SEND THEM TO THE FRONT LINE CONFLICT!
- The Ammo carriers are available to the main factions (Like Franz faction and Mazda faction), to the Dwarves and Humans they need the smiths and are recruitable by all on last tier stables/infantry barracks. No campaign limit and 5 on Custom Battles. High Upkeep and recruitment cost.
- Your units is too OP to the game!
These units were added without any "balancing" aspects, running out of ammo can be a very important weakness of ranged units for the game, but not for real life military conflicts. ALTHOUGH I’ll gladly accept any suggestions or comments (COMMENT ON THIS THREAD) to make the unit more balanced for gameplay! - Can I use your units on another mod?
No, you’re not allowed to do this without my permission. - Can I add your units to my collection?
You’re free to add my unit on any of your collections! I just ask to you to comment here so we can also check it! - The mod is broken/outdated!
I’ll try to keep it up-to-date after the game releases an update, COMMENT WHENEVER POSSIBLE IF THE MOD STOPPED WORKING!

Models are a problem, as I can’t find any of real cargo loading, and I don’t know how to import new ones, use your imagination!. Artillery ammo (also ressuplied), imagine they run to get them and deliver it to their crews. I might figure out something about this, but don’t expect too much. - Why not a Steam Tank or a War Wagon for the Empire? Chariots? Gyrocopters for Dwarves?
I don’t know how to mod a new Steam Tank or any war machine (excluding artillery) and I simply can’t make it, as I mess with modifying their files and tables.
If I made as a War Wagon, players without The Hunter & The Beast DLC would be unable to use the unit. - Can you add to the XXXXXX faction?
The factions I created the units for are the only ones that I thought that could be able to make a real War Logistic of ressupplying, but I HAPPILY ACCEPT NEW SUGGESTIONS (maybe using the lore, which I’m not familiar with). - They can resupply a Cigor???
If the Cigor is your ally, yes, just don’t imagine how…
- Sometimes the musket will slip through the Dragoon hand, it’s a simple animation bug and will not affect gameplay.
- Their ability description (when you rest the cursor over the icon) will not show the ammo resupplying as a ability effect, this is purely visual and they can still replenish units ammo in game.

Really, the Dragoon is the only custom made unit (different pros, weapon, mount and others…), so it’s most suscetible to unespected bugs!
