Funding the Future (Ally the Machinists & Tech Hunters)
Meet two new people at World’s End:
Clunknad Spanner, a senior scientist of the Machinists & Harp, a senior tech hunter who coordinates with Clunknad on tech hunter expeditions. By giving donations to these two NPCs you can raise your reputation with the Machinists and Tech Hunters respectively.
Forming an alliance with the Machinists will bring you caravans of construction supplies and basic science books. An alliance with the Tech Hunters will have them lend military support if your base is attacked.
You can donate 10,000, 25,000, 50,000 and 100,000 cats to each NPC for +10, +25, +50, & +100 relations.
Also has a reference to a short quest you may or may not have been sent on.
