Extended Timeline Gameplay Changes
Adds a series of changes for qweyrt’r popular Extended Timeline mod.
Make sure to get Idea Variation + The Original E.T. mod for the best experience (E.T. is 100% required obviously)
The primary focus of this mod is to prevent over-blobbing early on and keep the game feeling dynamic for a grand campaign of 2,000 years of history. Your empire will rise, it will fall, you will have to rebuild.
Changes:
Complete rework of the corruption system. You can now have 3 times as many territories as states. However, corruption will start to hit hard once you over-extend.
Flavor events added for the Romans, Huns and Parthians (more to come). Rome will behave more historically, being stable and slowly expanding early, then collapse. Added new changes to Pax Romana as well as the ability to root out corruption for the price of leader stats (up until the Feudal age).
Sallic Monarchies and Barbarian Tribes are locked! You will eventually be able to become Feudal. Playing a European nation will be extremely difficult early on.
Mandate of Heaven has a much bigger impact. Han will finally turn into something else.. eventually.
Rework of the migration system – the Vandals, Suebi, Visigoths and Ostrogoths will receive their historic territory. Visigoths, Franks and Ostrogoths. The final collapse of Rome should start happening around the 450’s A.D.
To do:
Mission trees for Rome and possible other early empires
Flavor for Dark Age – Modern Day

I had to place this seperately as it destabilizes the game for some reason. I could not find a logical reason why.
