ABOUT

The map takes place during the resistance uprising against the Combine. It’s located at Lake Sevan, Armenia. Its location gave the locals an advantage against the Combine due to the mountainous terrain of Armenia. However, the map is at the lowest point of the lake’s surrounding mountains and it’s rather flat. This gave the Combine a reason to set up a base there, though it didn’t go as planned. As the Combine focused on fighting the resistance in City 17, the presence of Combine declined, thus leaving the area nearly uninhabited as most of the humans have already been killed.

FEATURES
  • No game is required! All the files are packed into the map!
  • All buildings are enterable!
  • 2 working cranes with magnets
  • Usable Combine camera
  • All rooftops are accessible
  • Utility poles that go around the map to every single building and are all connected!
  • Dynamic sounds are placed everywhere, making the map feel different in each area, whether outside or inside!
  • Soundscape depends on your position, closer to the ocean means louder waves and higher from ground means louder wind
  • Most of the objects in the map are interactable (Radios, physical props, destructible windows etc.)
  • Decals, particles and effects are placed all over the city to add details to the map!
  • Huge skybox, parts of the skybox are enterable using air vehicles, this is to allow large air battles!
  • 3D Skybox!
  • Uses Garry’s Mod Sky, which can be customized to almost anything!
  • Cubemaps have been placed everywhere, inside and outside!
  • The forest includes many areas that can be used to hide
  • All buildings are connected by either a proper road or dirt roads
  • Fully AI Noded! Including:
    • Everywhere has ground nodes!
    • Strider Nodes
    • Bird fly-to and perch nodes
    • Climb nodes (No where is safe, every building has climb nodes!)
    • Air nodes
    • Jump nodes on many structures, allowing certain NPCs to move very quickly!
    • Special hint nodes are doorways
  • Buildings & Structures:
    • Cargo Bay
    • Gas station
    • Large warehouse
    • Residential apartment building
    • Residential single house
    • Radio station
    • Grocery shop
    • Underground Tunnel
    • Rebel outpost
    • Small Antlion hive near the coast
    • Many of the buildings include their own parking lots
  • Comes with a neat spawnicon!
  • Comes with almost 100 (if not more) player spawn points at the shore line
  • Minor game changing easter egg!
  • Comes with many technical entities that can be used by weather mods (env_wind, color & light entities, etc.)
